There's a common misconception that SAM is always the better choice because it's agile. When to Choose ADDIE:

When to Choose SAM:

✅ Uncertain Environment: In fast-changing situations where learning needs may shift quickly, SAM's iterative process allows for rapid adjustments.

✅ Ambiguous Needs: When project goals are unclear or evolving, SAM's collaborative and flexible nature helps refine the design throughout development.

Imagine designing a training program for aviation mechanics:
